Installation and Maintenance:
While most RO systems are designed for DIY installation, it’s essential to follow the manufacturer’s instructions carefully. Specific installation process may vary slightly depending on your RO system, here are general guidelines:
- Turn off the water supply: Ensure the water supply to your RO system is completely shut off.
- Drain the system: Open the water tap or any other outlet to drain the water from the system.
- Replace filters: Unscrew the old filter housings and replace them with the new filters from the set.
- Tighten securely: Ensure all filter housings are tightly secured to prevent leaks. Avoid overtightening as it can damage the filters and the system.
- Turn on water supply: Gradually turn on the water supply and check for any leaks.
Important: It’s recommended to flush the system for several minutes before using the water to remove any residual contaminants.
